The Tool Settings Panel.
The Tool Controls Panel is stuck to the left hand side of the ArtRage window. Inside it you will find controls relating to the currently selected tool. The controls themselves are detailed in the sections on the specific tools, earlier in this manual.
If a tool has no settings, the panel will be hidden. If it does have settings, the panel will appear and provide dials for editing those settings. Each tool that has settings also has a Reset button that can be pressed to load the default settings for the tool.
By clicking and dragging the green grip on this panel, you can drag it up and down the window’s edge. If you just click it, the panel will retract. If you don’t plan on using the Tool Settings, just retract it and leave it shut.
