You may find a window that makes a natural frame for your photo. It simply makes everything in the photo look more interesting.

This was taken through a tyre that was hanging from a tree on the beach, for children to swing on. It makes the photo of the boats moored in the bay a little bit different.

 

3. Use trees and plants to frame your photos

It is often a good idea to find trees or plants to go on the edges of your photo, if it is of scenery in the distance. Here, the hills and the sea are clearly seen, but the photo has the added interest of the trees in the foreground.
