First of all, open KidPix (or Dabbler - see special instructions) and get a clean new page.

Leave the background white, and draw a clear picture of the first frame of your animation.

Start out by drawing a piece of fruit if you don't know what else to do. Finish all the colouring in, and make it take up most of the page - don't leave lots of empty space!

Make a folder called fruit animation, and save this picture in called "1strawberry" or "1banana" or whatever. It is important to put the number in front of the name so you know which step of the animation it is.

After you have saved it, leave the picture there for the next step.
