An Indians tribe from North America, the Ojibwe Indians, gave all their newborn children their very own dreamcatchers which hung over the babies' cradles and blessed them with pleasant dreams while burning up all their evil dreams as the sun rose every morning.
As a child grew and matured into adulthood, he carried with him his dreamcatcher which would allow all good dreams to pass through its center hole and carry the sleeper peacefully through each night.
