Most visitors from overseas get to Auckland by flying in to Auckland International Airport. The two main airlines that fly into New Zealand are Air New Zealand, and Ansett. A lot of other airlines land here also, however. |

When you come off the plane, you collect your baggage, and go through Customs. You are not allowed to bring plants or food into the country, because they might contain pests or diseases that would spread through our country, and cause a lot of damage. Many of our problems have come into the country with people bringing things here without knowing the pests or diseases were in them. |
