Purpose:

This lesson will teach the reader what simple machines are, how they work, and how they are helpful in the household. I hope you enjoy this fabulous lesson on simple machines.

Background:

We chose simple machines as a topic to teach because we interested in what they are and how they work. To find our information, we used Groliers Multimedia Encyclopedia (on CD-ROM). We also used Netscape to search the internet. The last source that we used was called The Way Things Work.
