What does a bystander
look like?
The bystander is a person who
sees the bullying taking place, and behaves like
this:
- They don't know what to do, so
they don't do anything
- They are scared that if they
help the victim, the bully will turn on them
- They feel guilty about not doing
anything to help
- They feel powerless to do
anything, because they aren't in control
- They don't want to be a
tell-tale if they report the bullying
- They feel unsafe, and unable to
take action
