Good
choice! For many years, NASA has produced water by combining hydrogen and
oxygen in a fuel cell, using a process called electrolysis. Fuel cells not only
produce drinking water, they also produce electricity, so they are very valuable
on a space station.
But to make water this way, you have to bring oxygen and hydrogen into space. There's an easier waywhat is it?
