Bowline
- if you
only ever needed one knot, this is the one. If tied correct, there is
little chance of this slipping before the breaking point of the rope
itself. It should also be noted, we have used this to pull out stumps
with our truck and it is amazing how easily it comes untied when
finished. By far, this is our favorite knot. Just make a loop in the
rope as shown. Go back up through it and around the rope above the
loop. Come back down through that loop and work together slowly. See

Harness Loop
- if you need something to hang things from the middle of a rope. This is it. It is simple and easy to tie when you can not use either end of your rope. See picture for details.
